Happy Birthday Khloe

Today my oldest Drama Queen Khloe turned 6 years old.  I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that my first born is 6 already.   She is already so smart and loves to learn new things.  Of course she fights with her younger sisters, but you can see deep down that she would do anything in her power to protect them if they were in harms way.  She is obsessed with Kaleb, loves having a baby brother and on most occasions can make him smile when he is upset.  She is beyond defiant and always has a witty come back and will more often than not drive me insane, but she is my oldest princess and I love her all the same.  Having her changed me from Karine to mom and was when my real life began and I can’t remember my life before her.  I became the real me the day she was born and I will never look back.  I am first, foremost and forever going to be mom!

I can’t believe that this fall we will begin our homeschooling journey officially.  Where has the last 6 years gone?  I could have sworn just yesterday you took your first steps and now you are school age.  I can’t wait for our new adventures to begin.  You are so smart and you can do anything you put your mind to and I can’t wait to be your teacher.   I hope you learn to love reading and math just love mommy and of course problem solving!  Mommy just loves word problems and algebra (yes mommy is a geek) and I am so excited to have a reason to do it all again.

I love you my big baby girl, happy birthday!  I hope you enjoyed your favorite meal (lobster) and your special day!  Now to survive your combined birthday party next month!  Mommy, daddy, sisters and brother love you so much and we are always here no matter what!
